We're not inveterate flippers, but we have bought and sold four homes in the past ten years, and been involved in the sale of two others disposing of estates. The Hannons have been by far the most diligent, professional, and effective of any of the agents we've used, either buying or selling. They are well attuned to the factors affecting the market in Naples/Bonita Springs/Estero, and are sensitive to the differences between the various communities. Their advice is balanced and thoughtful, not aggressive in trying to manage expectations on the part of the seller downwards for a quick sale. Their marketing efforts were above reproach, and we feel their presentation of the home brought buyers looking for what we had to offer, not those seeking the lowest price per square foot in the relevant neighborhood. The home was our seasonal residence, so we were not present to manage set up, repairs, and service procedures before and after the sale, but Jeri was very helpful and cooperative in arranging to let people in and monitoring their work. We also found the people she referred us to to be top drawer - we've had issues in the past with referrals to less-than-satisfactory providers, from other parties. We would highly recommend their services, for those seeking to list an expensive property with a full-service brokerage, which seems to us to be the path to maximize value in residences that are unique in some respects, vs using a discount brokerage or a sell-it-yourself service. Or, for someone coming into the area who wants an honest and objective overview of the various properties that might be considered. Particularly in SW Florida, there are significant differences in the culture, amenities, and character of the different communities, and I would recommend that the Hannons would be helpful in finding not just the physical residence, but also the nature of the surroundings, that best suit the buyer's temperament and lifestyle.
